Our Thanksgiving Turkey

We had a wonderful time in Weatherford at Lindsay's parents for Thanksgiving! We had lots of wonderful food, football, and rest! And we were so blessed to have a cold front come through just as we finished our meal and blanket the ground with a fresh snow!!! Happy Thanksgiving to each of you...

Fall Festival

Well, the costume idea didn't go over so well this year. After a great first year as an octopus, we managed to get one picture of our little lion this year (thanks to the Kouba's blog).

At the Park with Garrett (& Ellie)!

Just a couple of Sundays ago, Garrett and Ellie Addington joined us for a day at the park. We met Matt & Candace (our longtime friends from Weatherford) at a park in Denton and had a great time. The boys played hard, and Ellie was the princess relaxing with the gals (until Marc hit her on the head while throwing acorns with the boys)...

Meeting Mike Huckabee

What a privilege it was to serve at a reception for Governor Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas who is running for President. He was not only one of the kindest men, he was so articulate on his vision for the future of our country. His love for Christ and America is contagious.
